Gen6 Dash kit (for stereo)

I tried searching but I cant find the definate answer and all the pics that were up are down because of the old thread.

But Im asking which is the better dash kit for the gen6 camry, the scosche or the metra kit. I DO REMEMBER one of them has a poor fitment? Not exactly poor but towards on the the corner there is a gap?

Can anyone verify ?
or post pics of your dash kit?

thanks in advance.

Metra is the answer you are looking for.
It fits best and the color matches better than the Scosche.

So I guess its the metra kit that's better.

METRA

vs.

SCOSCHE

notice the bottom left and right corner how it doesnt line up perfectly? I know its very anal to notice that but when you have 2 options available, you want hte better one :P

The only problem I had was my scosche dash kit. First off its pretty flimsy but thats the my problem, the radio fits in the very very tightly. I tried gently bending the edges and I got it in. Now the problem is the radio faceplate isn't sitting right
and i read that the fitment of the scosche one feels cheap ? I cant find hte quote though.

Anyways I did end up finding the answer, so incase someone is looking the
METRA kit is apparantly a better quality wise over the scosche.

Turns out not too many people here have aftermarket units on their car. Well single din wise. There are a few with double dins and the rest get the crappy china nav or just keep the stock unit.

The Metra kit is almost 2x the price of the scosche kit on sonicelectronix.

you get what you pay for, so Metra kit it is!
