I have an 08 camry I am leasing and the sun visor has broken and believe me it was not due to wear and tear. I have owned 7 cars in my life and never had an issue with sun visors. I called Toyota and of course being that my mileage is over 36,000 it is not covered and they said that it would cost me to have it replaced($150.00 after parts & labor)
They also said they do not have enough documentation to show it is a defective part. That is a bunch of hooey. So if you have had this problem I urge you to call Toyota to have your complaint documented so that maybe if enough people complain they will fix the problem and save future Toyota owners a major headache. I am trying to find a visor so that I can replace it myself. I have not had much success locating one. Any thoughts out there other then a salvage yard. And does anyone know if an 07 or 06 model is the same as my 08 in terms of compatibility? Thanks everyone
