He's right; your 2011 is the same generation as the 2007/8, so you're fine.

is there a real benefit to buying a fujita cai like the one listed above, that is worth spending the extra $200 on one? besides the sound.

i have a Fujita CAI for my Maxima and it was great, the power was very affective and the to be honest/ just myself the fuel consumption was a decrease, but it really depends on your driving but the respond is good. Drive from NYC to Philly only used 1/3 of a tank doing 80 MPH on a full tank. I just order a Fujita with for my V6 2011 camry SE over the K&N intake. The K&N is not bad but it still get heat soak cause it SRI, where the Fujita is CAI for more cold air , but hydro lock might happen. I had the CAI fujita on my maxima for 3 years in NYC, endure all the weather and never got hydro lock, prob the only way to hydro lock is having your car sitting in a puddle with the filter dunked in the water and rev it in park or neutral. damm i just totally talked off topic, right ya K&N SRI kit is good and very easy to install but your not going to have the same affect as a CAI, cause of the heat soak air from the engine bay, even thou your protected with the heat shield. i personally recommend Fujita over K&N. I been waiting and doing my research for almost 5 months looking at AEM, Injen, K&N, Fujita, and Taketa and weapon R.

If you can use a 2 post lift it's a hell of alot easier. It ask you to remove the front bumper but if it's on a lift you can get to everything you need without doing all that.
