Gen6 Engine light back on.

So the light came back on last night so I scanned it at auto zone. Got 3 P0 codes. Rich bank one. Rich bank 2. And MAF fluctuation. I cleared the codes and got some maf cleaner and cleaned the maf out. It wasent too dirty but there was a light film of oil on it from the k&n. I'll keep you guys up to date on what happens! Factory intake is back in for now. Here it is all cleaned out

Did you clean and reoil the k&n? if so you may have used to much oil or didn't allow enough time to dry.

Its a common problem with any car that is using an oil filter. If you using a K&N panel filter I would probably sell it. They have a tendency to hold a tonna oil, the cones arent as bad.

However if your real easy on the oil and let it sit for a day or two you should be fine. If your using a panel filter the OEM paper filters are pretty good. Dry cone filters arent bad either.

More airflow = less filtering media = oil in order to get particles to cling.

I was looking into that Pro Dry S dry element.. looks nice. Could make a sick intake out of that.
