Jet V-Force Performance Programmer worth it or not?

I recently purchased and installed the Jet V-Force Performance module and the biggest question I had was "Is it worth it or not?" Well, While it looks cool to have it sitting on the dash I have to say I'm a little disappointed in Jet. The module has very little fuctionability for the Gen 7 Camry. It gives a throttle position reading and battery amps. I was expecting the MAP/MAF reading and after calling Jet have been informed that it's common on the Camry to not getting a reading although it is sending data. As far as performance goes, I'm going to say yes there is some difference in the performance since installing. The major issue I had and the reason for installing was after the addition of the header and full exhaust make over my idle was a little low and I was running a little rich. I do see a change in both of those issues and I feel better throttle response. Also when accelerating from first gear my 20" tires are more apt to break lose at around 5k rpm. So, was it $240 worth it? Only because it fixed my idle and fuel issue. I could've spent the $240 towards a Weapon R intake manifold, gotten a 15-30 hp increase and been way happier.

Not sure if I see the point of any "performance" enhancements if you're running 20s. The best performance you'll get is by ditching your big heavy 20s.

Also, I've never heard of tires losing grip after a launch... what size are you running?

Ill get pics later today. As far as the 20's go, I like a mix of performance and style. So yes I sacrifice a little on the performance edge. I'm running 245/35/20 and has some to do with the cold asphalt I'm sure but I have raced cars my whole life and had several cars that will break tires at the top of the power band. Not really that uncommon. I'm not looking for a supermodified street tuner here it is a 4 banger but I have surprised quite a few v6 drivers. This is my daily driver and I just wanted some sort of driving satifaction when I'm on my daily commutes. I spent a lot of time in my car so I did what I could to make it enjoyable.

You should be looking at light weight 18s or 19s and going with a stiffer and lower suspension. My 18s look bigger than your 20s btw.

It seems like every time I hear or see something about Jet Chips it's either bad or mediocre. I never hear or see anyone saying great things about there products. I guess in your case it did what you needed it to do, but didn't do what you wanted it to do which puts it in the mediocre category for you. I would just steer clear from there products if I were looking for any kind of engine management assistance.
