5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I am always looking for something different to do to my car that isnt the every day norm or seen on every other car at every other street light. My 07 Camry SE is a very popular model and between Kansas and Oklahoma where all my time is spent I see a ton of them. Granted the tinted windows and 20" wheels set mine apart from the majority but I wanted to do something a little different. Some of you will no doubt think this was a stupid move and will likely tell me how disgusted you are Lol. Which is fine that's why we are all here right to share our opinions and receive feed back. I enjoy it in fact. What I did I have not yet seen done so I thought what the heck go for it. I stripped the exterior of my Camry of all emblems and badges. I am a fan of the TRD emblem so I added those to the front grill and rear deck lid. Then I purchased two Lexus emblems and added those as well. I actually had an owner of a Lexus ES350 stop me yesterday and tell me how much better my ES350 look than his and that he loved what I had done with it! Imagine his suprise when I told him it was actually a Camry. He said no way! It looks way to good to just be a Camry! I told him that the ES350 and Camry share the same platform and a ton of similiarities in body styling. He walked away impress and actually made the comment "Man am I an idiot for spending all the extra money on a Lexus!" I love it! Good stuff. So anyway here are the links to the photos.
Lol no it's not a conversion per say but hey it was different. That was the whole point in it. I knew it wouldn't go over that well but yes I do like it.
