Unhappy Camry in Kuwait, Which gas should i use? PLEASE HELP!

Hi guys,
My 07 Camry SE just arrived in Kuwait,
I usually put 89 fuel type in the U.S.
Now i am in Kuwait and the only fuel the have is to start with a 91 octane WTF??

here what Kuwait have to offer in there fuel?
Please help on which one should i choose? and is it safe for me to you 95 or 98? would this harm my engine ?
there all unleaded

Petrol (91 Octane) known as Premium = 60 Fils (Available in all the fuel stations in Kuwait).
Petrol (95 Octane) known as Super = 65 Fils (Also available in all the fuel stations in Kuwait).
Petrol (98 Octane) known as Ultra = 90 Fils (Available in a few fuel stations).

thanks guys

I would use the lowest possible, 91. It's closest to the recommended 87 octane, and if higher octane was bad for the Camry, only common sense would tell you not to use the even higher octane fuels available in Kuwait.

Try every one of them and see if there is a difference in performance or increase/decrease in MPGs, just don't full tank it.

I use the U.S standard premium which is 92 Octane i believe correct me if im wrong. Car runs smooth no problems 91 is fine idk if the grading is different over there but do some research and see what the locals are using.

The different fuel grades available in Kuwait are represented by color codes at the pumps. As follows;

RED Pump: 89-91, Regular, Arabic Name: 'Aadi' , 60 fils/liter
GOLDEN Pump: 95-ish, Super, Arabic Name: 'Khasosi', 65 fils/liter
GREEN Pump: 98, Hi-Octane, Don't know Arabic name, 90fils/liter

I use 'Khasosi' on regular basis. I have tried all the grades in my Aurion and found the engine to be smoother and more responsive on the higher grades. The 91 is 89 on some pumps. There isn't much price difference between the 91/95 so I would recommend to use the 95. That is whats used the most here.

It's a common perception here that the 95 is cleaner (as in minimum dust, particulates etc.) than the 91. I say perception bacuse i dont have any facts to prove it.

This is how people in Kuwait decide on what Grade to use:

4 cylinder Engines: Grade RED
6,8 and higher cylinders: Golden
Super Cars: Green

Try the 98 once in a while...you will feel the difference

Just out of curiosity, what region of the US did you import your Camry from? Usually cars imported from South of the US do better. The cars in Kuwait come with a 'beefed-up' engine cooling system and Air-conditioning. So the American cars ment for the Southern states are a better fit compared to the cars ment for the Northern colder states.

Is it V6 or i4?

and Welcome to Kuwait!!

There is no harm in using higher octane rated fuel in your car. Suggested octane ratings given for vehicles are for minimum recommended octane. I'd just use whatever was closest to what you were using in the states.
