XM Fit kit PT546-33100 Compatible To PT546-33070

Hello,

I have a 09' Camry SE V6 with the OEM NAV/JBL Premium system. I was looking for the 09' XM Fit Kit (PT546-33070) but apparently Toyota discontinued them and there are absolutely none around anywhere. Absurd.

I was wondering if the PT546-33100 ('10 XM Fit Kit) is compatible with an 09' Camry. I have the XM receiver but no Fit Kit (found they were discontinued after buying the receiver). I don't mind splicing/wiring/soldering if necessary I was just hoping someone ran into this already and had a solution.

As stated above, I already have the OEM XM receiver and would like to stick with it if possible. I know VAIS makes an aftermarker factory add-on but I'd like to not the spend the money if possible.

Thanks,
Chris Laatsch

Sorry man, no luck on this one. The 2010 Camry is equipped with an XM antenna on the roof and the 33100 fit kit is for that antenna only. The wiring is completely different and the kit does not include the seperate antenna the earlier kit did.

Google the part number. I found several on-line dealers showing them as a slight discount. One of them will have one if not all.

I found out from an ebay seller that the 2010 kit will not fit my 2009 Camry Hybrid. but like gdanaher stated, google is your friend and the parts can be found easily, even if they are discontinued.

Just to follow up. In emailing many dealers and shops, I have found only 2 places (1 dealer in California and a shop in California.) that do have this part in stock. So, even if some places do list it as available, it isn't.

One more thing, sorry, but I was able to get the fit kit from Simi Valley Toyota and Scion. I was led to believe it was their last one. That cost me $140.00 shipped. Pretty costly.

Quintex Mobile Electronics (located in California) informed me of another solution for those wanting XM in their cars.

Part #'s:
SL2XD2 & XHD2H1

They both work together and will work for the 2009 Camry
