5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I called into my dealership today to ask about the part numbers for OEM exhaust piping..
Gen. 6:
Center pipe 17420 0H130
Exhaust pipe 17430 0H160
Gen. 6.5
Center pipe 17420 0P021
Exhaust pipe 17430 0H161
I was under the impression the piping was the same for Gen. 6 and 6.5 LE Camry models.. are the bends not the same? The Gen. 6 combo will cost 100 bucks more, and at that price, I'd just go megan catback. I need everything from the catback replaced.
Thanks for any help!

can't you just get custom piping to make it fit? I have my old exhaust laying in my garage, iunno what parts you need but i'll take a picture of it if your interested.

The TRD exhaust has the same part # for 2007-2011, so the oem should fit.
My suggestions:
Go to a junkyard before the dealer
Go to a new shop to get piping fixed/replaced...add a resonator to quiet the sound.

This one is off a 2007 and is priced alright. Do you think it's still useable? Outside doesn't look like it's in the best shape, but should function just fine, eh?
Is yours a gen 6 or gen 6.5? Is your car a I4 or a V6 (I'm assuming it's an I4, but wanted to make sure)?
One thing I noticed after looking at my co-workers gen 6.5 is that the I4's on the gen 6.5's have dual exhaust. We were talking about the cars one day and he said it was a I4. I didn't believe him so I asked if he could pop the hood and when he did it was the I4 in there. His is a 2010 with dual exhaust so I thought it was a V6, but it wasn't. That could be the difference in the mufflers.
