Gen5 Ambient Air Temp Sensor Location 2002 Camry XLE

Hello,

I have done a search but maybe didnt find the answer to my question:

I have a 2002 Camry XLE and the Ambient Air Temp Sensor i think is bad. Dashboard display reading "- -" I bought the sensor for replacement, but can not seem to locate where it goes. Some websites say "Behind drivers side bumper" but does anyone know exactly where?

Seems simple enough to swap out once i locate it.

Thank you.

i recently took off my front bumper cover, and i remember seeing it mounted where the lower grille of the cover would be on the driver's side of the bumper brace.

you probably will have to take the bumper cover off to access it to change it, once you do, it should be fairly obvious where it is.
