What is the diameter, outside I guess of the 2003 camry exhaust? I need to replace the flex pipe and its snowy here so I cant measure it. I found several on E-bay but dont know for sure the size.

I think it is 2.25 inches, but buy the part from Toyota and there will be no guesswork and you know it will fit. No brainer if it is snowing.

Thats not an option, as toyota wont sell just the flex part, but the entire front pipe, with an attatched cat, and all that stuff thats not needed. I found the Flex part ONLY on ebay for under $25.00 it simply needs the bad one cut out and the new one welded in place of it.

Just take it to a local exhaust fabrication shop (not Meineke or Midas preferably), they will have a selection of flex pipe. Some front pipes are double walled which presents a challenge to the do it yourselfer when the flex section is cut out. If the area between the double walled pipes is not filled with weld, the exhaust may create a nasty whistle and a definite flow restriction. This job, correctly done, normally costs $100-150 depending on shop rates which is a lot cheaper than a stock replacement.
