Unhappy Headlight problem

Hello to all I'm a nubbie and proud owner of an 2005 camry.
my problem is the driver side low beam does not turn on, high beam works fine.
I was told that a relay #90987-02025 denzo might be the problem.
has anyone had the same problem?
Thank you GREAT Sight!!!

Did you check the obvious? Like the actual bulb? Loose connections etc?

Unhappy Headlight problem

Thank You for taking time to respond to my post.
not only did I replace the light bulb I also removed the one that would not light and placed it on my other headlights low beam area and was surprised to find out it worked. I also checked all fuses on the inside of the car and by the front fender on driver side and all were ok!
I the took a 12v power tester and found no current to the low beam bulb.
This is why I wanted to know if the relay I mentioned was it,or is their another place to look.

I think relay controles both left and right lights...
check wires, ground point, maybe bad ground?
what about bulb connector itself, any oxydation?

If you want to check your relay you can have someone turn you lights on and off while you listen to the relay. If it works it will make a clicking sound when activated and deactivated. You could also take a know good relay, of the same type, from your car and put it in place to see if that fixes your problem. Other than that I would have to say that something is either corroded or a wire is cut or fried.

After looking at the wiring diagram for the Camry I found out that there are 2 separate fuses and relays for the low beams. 1 for the left side and 1 for the right side. Pull the passenger side relay and plug it into the drivers side and see if it comes on. It should be in the fuse box area under the hood on the drivers side. when you open the box both the fuses and relays should be in the top-mid-left section of the box. I'm getting this from the wiring diagram in the manual so I can't say that it's definitely right cause I'm not under the hood checking it right now, but I'm confident that what I'm seeing in the manual is correct. I hope this helps.

Thanks Imjustme55 could you possibly scan the diagram or let me know were you obtained the diagram and publication! The only relay I have found that controls the Headlights is 90987-02025 denzo gray in color which operates both headlights.

What I have is a soft copy not a hard copy and I've never posted a pdf on a forum before so I'm not quite sure how to do it.
