2007 or newer non JBL stereo

Has anyone had any problems with their non JBL head unit? If so, what was the problem and did Toyota help you, even if your car's warranty was finished?

Intermittent backlight here, they refused to do anything unless they can see it in person when it goes out....

I had problem. sound was cheap and vibrant.
added sound insulation and pioneer speakers- problem solved, I like sound now, it sound way better than before, crisp and heavy.

p.s. if you got HU problems, get another one off ebay, will be much cheaper than from dealer.
