Security light
From what I have heard, 2002-2005 V6 camry LEs and SEs have the immobilizer and they're standard. The XLEs, both V6 and I-4, have them with the anti-theft alarm.
If the car has a security light on the dash it should have an immobilizer. Your key will have a transponder in it. Go and have a key made at the hardware store and try to start the car. If the car starts and runs, then you do not have an immobilizer. If the car does not start and run, then you do have an immobilizer.
