HELP! Fog Light installation

Hey everyone,

I just bought OEM style fog lights for my 2005 Camry LE. It seems like it does not fit in the cut out that is already there in the bumper. Also, I cannot seem to figure out where and how to mount the fog lights. I got some nuts & bolts w/the whole thing. Can anyone tell me if there is anything else that I might need? I am putting a link to the item that i purchaced if that helps. Can anyone help me w/this? I would appreciate it, thanks in advanced.

How do I mount them? My bumper has the fog light covers built in, so I would need to cut them. Any idea where I can find the mounts to mount it to them or more importantly, how?

I had a 05 camry with them built in so not sure how to mount them.

as far as I remember US built 05 camry had a one piece bumper that need to have the fog light cover cut out and Japanese built camrys had all the wiring and a removable cover with all the mounting hardware installed

check the FAQ's maybe there is something there to help you

good luck! i was in the same boat you were in, and decided to just get an SE bumper instead of dealing with it. I wasn't sure i'd be able to cut it so it'd look good and there was nothing on the bumper itself that you can mount the fog lights to.

you will either have to glue them on or make your own mounts. i have an 05 LE too, it'll likely have the wiring already like mine did. you'll either need the fuse or relay or both to use the existing fog light wiring as well as the oem fog light stalk.

you can get away with not using the oem fog light stalk, but it's a bit involved and IMO not as clean. that ebay kit should have everything you need to do it that way, but the quality on those ebay fogs is very questionable. i've bought a pair before... they use some sort of silicone sealant that is not very strong. I was able to pull the lenses of the fog lights off without heating or much effort.

Hey those fog lights don't fit, they are way too big. If you put them in from the back, you'll just get a big gap on the corners and it'll ugly.

These look more right than yours. Hope it helps
