Thought i'd pop over to the gen5/6 section with a quick question.

I have a 1991 camry and im getting a Keyless entry/remote start installed next week.

I have the option for them to hook up my horn for lock and unlock confirmation, but i like the beep noise that the gen5 and 6's have for lock/unlock.

Is there a way to just take whatever makes the beep noise in the gen5/6 and hook it up to my keyless system? Or is it part of the Keyless computer/Anti-theft system. does anyone have the part number(s) for it?

Do you remember where its located in the car? dash or engine bay?

My mom has an 06 and i figured i could get the part number off her car but i cant for the life of me find the darn thing.

Don't know anything about it... read what the other guy did and PM him to see if he has a P/N for it. A Dealership might also be able to help

It was on the engine bay, near the driver side headlight area.
