Camry rear window won't stay up and lowers automatically

Hi I have a 2010 Camry XLE with the auto up and down window controls. Today I lowered the driver side rear window and when I raised it the window it automatically lowered. When I try to close the window it lowers automatically. I there a way to reset the window or to I have to take it to the dealer for repair. Thanks

Go to the door that has the problem. With it's switch press down to lower it and hold for 2 sec then raise it back up and hold for 15s then back down. It should be reprogramed at that point. If not it may be that ur jampro is not operating right and requires attention.

I would assume it pertains to the mechanism that makes the window go back down when it senses something was in the path when closing. This is a safety feature that prevents serious injury if say a hand or finger was in the window and it was closing.

It may need to be re-initialized or more....... see diagnostics and instructions in your Factory Service Manual.

Yeah that's all it is most likely that it has become unprogrammed. Just follow the instructions I posted and this will program that for you if that is all that is wrong.

Hi and thanks I left the car overnight and closed the rear window very carefully and it stayed up but I did not try the auto function. Next time I am at the dealer for service I will have them check the jampro.
