Hi, I am in need of a 2011 JBL navigation wiring diagram showing the connectors on the rear panel of the head unit, I would also like one for the 2007-2009 so I can compare and see what the differences are. Any help appreciated.
Hello every one, I just started today in this forum, and found exactly the questions about the 2011 jbl navigation wiring diagram, I have a new jul gen6 E 7024 navigation but my camry does not have an amplifier, need to buy one also with wiring. Can any body help me with this?
Hi immusicman, I read your post from January/2011 about JBL navigation wiring diagram, I just purchased a new JBLgen6 E7024 navigation system for the Camry 2011, but my car does not have an amplifier and i haven't been able to install it, I'm in desperate need of the wiring diagram for that unit, i also need to buy the JBL amp and wiring so that I can finally give it life. Do you happen to have those diagrams? any help would be greatly appreciated, and if you have more info on that installation I'll appreciate it!!!!!!!!
I went through this whole process myself, and my factory nav, bluetooth controls, and microphone are all being installed as we speak. Remember when you are doing this, you will need more than just the nav head unit. You will need the antennae that goes with it, if you want bluetooth you will need the steering wheel controls and the microphone that goes in your overhead. You will also need to find the JBL amp as the head unit puts out absolutely no power and it needs the amp to communicate with whatever speaker set up you may have. If you are upgrading from a regular stereo, then you should also know, you will need to order several different wiring harness clips as the ones on the back of the NAV are totally different from the regular stereo, so get ready for some cutting and splicing. I will keep you updated as to how this install goes and any other pitfalls we come across.
Hey, good luck with that installation, as an update the stereo that my car came with is the Panasonic with satellite radio and it has all of that already, so the steering controls, bluetooth, usb aux jack, and microphone are factory installed, I also have the GPS antenna and speed cable that came with the Nav unit, what I really need is the JBL amplifier with wiring and some connectors that you mention and harness.if you know anybody selling the JBL amp please let me know!!
I think i'm anxious now that I know you doing that same installation. Thanks for the reply & keep me posted.
Thanks.

Reason: forgot thanks
Everything is installed and seems to work fine except the microphone. The mic checks out all good, and so does the cable, but something inside the NAV unit itself isn't working right I guess. I will let you know if I get this resolved.
Congrats, you would think that the mic is one of the easiest connections, but i guess anything can give you trouble.
Im sure you'll get fix!! today I spent the whole day going trough all junk yards in the city, but no luck with the JBL amp for my Camry, Ill keep looking, I posted a thread to buy, keep fingers cross.
Careboy, ha ha ha! That was just about my expression when the installer told me that. Turns out, the side panels with the turquoise backlighting also don't light up?
So here are my thoughts on this. There are three pin outs from the unit going to the mic. One is positive, the second is a negative, and the third cable carries a 5 volt source to the mic. We checked and as it turns out, there is also a 4.7 volt current going down the negative line. Now I am no expert but here is my theory.
Usually when you split a power source without a transformer or something to maintain the signal level, then it gets cut in half almost. Considering the LED backlighting won't turn on and LED lights usually take a 9 volt power source, I am wondering if somehow the circuit for the lighting broke, or somehow started to touch this negative out to the mic, which would have cut the power close to in half, leaving me with around 4.5 volts. Could that be why I am seeing 4.7v coming down that line? I dunno, but I am gonna figure this out if it kills me.
Does anybody have a stock 2007 camry nav system they would be willing to let me remove and try plugging in to my dash unit? I would put it right back in... or maybe someone has removed theirs and still has it around? I still can't get the mic to work in mine and it would solve the issue of whether it is the wiring or my actual NAV unit. I would be really grateful to anyone who could offer help on this or the technical issue. Thanks in advance.
