USA 06 camry head problem

Hello! I have a 06 Camry with a 2.4 engine it has 91,000 miles.
When I started the car the other day it started missing along with a stinky smell along with a check engine light, checked the temp gage and it was ok checked oil level it was ok checked for water in the oil, no water in it. took it to a parts store for a check engine light check they said it was a piston one misfire and a random misfire. Drove it home and discovered the coolant tank empty so I filled it up.
next day when I started it, it misfired and white smoke was coming out the tail pipe. took it to a shop they took the plugs out and found coolant on the plugs and 3 cilinders, and said it needed a head job.
I don't understand it it only has 91k miles on it.
Could it be something ealse??

Stripped threads again? Look for signs of external coolant leakage (on the transmission side of the head iirc). It's possible the gasket itself failed, but unlikely. Either way the head's coming off, possible thread repair and perhaps even some head work.

man toyota really fu**** up with these 2AZ motors. Your head bolts are striped bro. They're going to need to drill out the holes in your block and heli-coil them.
