you can feel around for where the clip is on the front of the seat just get your hands one on each side of the clip/hook whatever you want to call it push it towards the back of the car and just give it a good tug. Mine was a little stuck too dont be shy no tools needed just some good ole muscle. like i said mine popped right out push it towards the back a little and just give it a strong jerk. It's amazing how crappy the seats are now compared to cars from the 80's or even 90's

removing rear seat bottom in 2004 camry

Seat is held by two latches .To remove stuck seat make a wedge-16 in. long 2x4 tapered on one end with a slot 2 in.deep x1 in.wide Slide passenger and driver seats forward. Push wedge under rear seat so it surrounds each latch and push down on end-seat will pop up!
To help with future seat removal grease latches.
To replace seat -thread belts through slots in seat and latch into each buckle. Pull on belts and buckles will come through slots. Position seats so that both protruding wire tongues fit into latch slots and push down on seat.
