P0012/0016
Have a friend with a 2003 Camry with the I4 and 150k on the clock. The Xray scan tool is showing P0012/P0016 codes. She recently had the oil pump replaced and the cat after pouring transmission fluid in the oil, now Im not sure if the codes are from that incident or not, so have cleared them. (I have no idea why she had the pump replaced other than I think she was taken advantage of) The car was periodically experiancing oil light flickering before the incident and then on ocassion experiancing it again. (Dont know under what conditions this occurs). Anyhow, research has mentioned that the VVT actuator or solenoid might be blocked. Is there a DIY or someone who knows where it is in order to check to see if its full of sludge or crap? Also, I cant seem to find my online copy of the 2002-6 Camry manual, can someone pm me where they perhaps might be? Thanks in advance
