Hello, For my 2010 2.5 camry, I don't have an maintenace book delivered with it.
I want to know something what I can't find:
correct spark plugs and the gap clearance specification.
Can someone let me know what this clearance must be ?

I found it on page 494 in the Owners Manual under Vehicle specifications (section 6).
"2.5 L 4-cylinder (2AR-FE) engine"
DENSO SK16HR11
Gap is 0.043 in. (1.1 mm)
You need plugs now?

Thanks a lot Luna.
I already signed in and got: 37 matches found for your 2010 Camry
I could not find the Gap specifications there, but with your help its OK.
I don't need plugs now. Here in the netherlands I'm not driving on standard gas. We have lpg (liquid petrol gas). This fuel costs half what normal gas costs.
Last week I let build in my Camry, an special installation for running on this lpg. Because the head of the engine is getting hotter then driving on normal gas, I have to inspect the sparks every 20000 miles and control the gap of 1.1 mm.
Thanks a lot Luna.

I have not heard of any LPG conversions. I think this is strictly a European concept and application.
What is involved in the conversion?
Is the computer updated to the manage the new fuel?
The build in, on the place for the 5 the wheel, an special lpg tank. On the intake of the engine comes new lpg injectors. The build in an special lpg computer what's couppled with the ignition an standard computer of the car.
Use the link for pictures of this installation: http://www.vanmeenen.com/LPG-autogas...ema-sgisn.html
There is no problem with the computer. The LPG comes with additional one and they both are sinchronised so really there is no difference what you are running on. the only one that I now that there is specific motor oil for LPG motors - in yellow Shell plastic bottles
I have seen some Camry's in Bulgaria running on LPG and seems to be O.K. Haven't asked the owners yet but I will and will let you know shortly.
Alorock you could also check all wiring system regulary and make sure you have some gas in the tank in order to fire it up when motor is cold.
I can state that there are plenty of vehicles running on LPG in California such as public transport and industry vehicles, and until tha gas price is about 2 times lower that European there is realy no need to install such a system. I also will be very careful heaving propane tank (bomb) in the trunk.
That's nice, a message from Bulgaria.
Now we can see how international this forum is.
The garage who installed the lpg installation last week wanted to change the spark gap clearance, or een build in special lpg sparks.
Now I'm talking about an 2010 2.5 camry.
Before this car, I had 2 other camry's. A gen 6 and an gen 5 2.4. Both running on lpg without any problem or extra maintenance.
Because I'm driving on LPG ( liquid petrol gas) now, the company who build in the installation, gives me the advise to put the Gap clearance of the sparks from 1.1 mm to 0.8 mm. My car would be run smoother with LPG. What about driving on standard gas.
Will the engine get problems when I drive with the sparks on 0.8 mm ?
