Broken Belt Tensioner, how can I safely remove the belt?

So I followed the write up on here and it made everything seem quite easy and I am confident that it is, but I did run into a little problem: The bolt on the tensioner snapped right off. I am 5'8" and weigh 160 and was only using a 18" breaker bar. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to removing the belt without the bolt on the tensioner so I can continue with the project and get the alternator out.

Thanks in advance,

Bryan

(and yes, that is the belt that is torn and going horizontal in the picture lol)

Were you able to replace the tensioner? If so, how? Does the motor need to be raised or is there enough space between the tensioner assembly and the sheet metal in front of it? I don't know how long the bolts that hold the tensioner, can't start working on it because I do not have an extra ride. If I start it, I have to cut the belt and there's pretty much no way to re-install the belt without that broken off bolt or damaging the pulleys by using a pry bar.
