Picked up my Gen6 today.

Scored a 15k mile, 5-speed '08 Camry LE fresh off-lease today. Here are the pics. Spring plans include SE springs, possibly RSB and take-off SE wheels. One thing at a time though- especially since I have a loan now, lol. Traded my POS '03 Focus, was happy to get 2K out of it, happier still to be on to bigger and better. This is my third Camry 5-speed and first in almost 6 years. Couldn't be happier. Big ups to Stephen S and Mike S at Newburgh Toyota-Scion for their help in a smooth deal, and to my dad (DOHCammer) for his tip-off on the car.

The pics.

It was awesome to have helped you!!!! Cant wait to see what you end up doing with it. I'll be dropping of the springs to your dad tomorrow!!! I assume you're gonna wait till the spring and when you get some takeoffs. Enjoy it!!!!!! Camry manual transmissions FTW!!! lol

And don't forget a thorough write up about it!!!!

Look at you... on TN at work... Don't you have more Camrys to sell? LOL j/k man...

On top of the things I listed, light tints will be needed, I think. Looks too much like a fish bowl now if ya know what I mean. Still getting used to the clutch, fiddled with the seat some and have a better feel for it now.

Thorough write-up will come tomorrow (if I'm off work) or this weekend. Getting close to midterm time, crazy couple of weeks ahead for teachers and students alike, so spare time is at a premium...

Welcome. First and cheapest mod you can do is get rid of that 8 ball knob and cut that shifter about 2-3 inches. You'll love it.

Actually this is an incorrect statement. The SE is .25" lower than other model Camry's.
