06 Camry Windshield washer fluid doesn't work below freezing

I have the Winter Stuff in there (one full gallon) and it still doesn't work with very low temperatures.

No fluid comes out, wipers come on.

My co-worker with the same car and winter washing fluid has the same problem.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Some "winter" washer fluids go down to 0 deg F only. Maybe Rain-X De-Icer (-25 deg F) will help? You will need to flush out the old stuff completely.

The stuff I used claimed -30 degrees F and the tank was completely empty when I added it. The tank holds 1 gallon and that's what I added.

Didn't work this morning at 6 degrees or when I left work at 19 degrees.

Should work fine, probably your fluid pump or something jammed in the nozzles.

Pour a little washer fluid into a plastic cup, put it in your freezer, and see what happens. If it freezes there, it will freeze outside as well.

the alcohol content of the former mix you had could have evaporated and then you would have just a basic water left in the lines, and this froze up. you can try to remove the lines from the nozzles and warm them up to remove the ice build up....

an old trick some used in 'the old days" was to go and buy several feet of washer line, then from the tank, you would wrap several times around the upper radiator hose, and then go to the nozzles. the trick here was that as the fluid left the tank, ran around the upper radiator hose and then to the nozzles, would be warmed up a bit...it does work, but it also takes time to set this all up....if one is up to the challenge........the more times you wrap the line around the upper radiator hose, the more fluid would be warmed up for use, even fluid left in the line overnight, would warm up nicely when you needed it.....and you would never chance braking the windshield, as it's warm not HOT fluid......

if someone does this, take pics and post them here...

If its blue then its usually good from 0-10 above no matter what the bottle says. Rain-X deicer (orange) or Prestone deicer (yellow) is the stuff to buy if you don't want it to freeze up. They are a premium product and well worth the price IMO. The weather we've been having here in the tristate area is way colder than usual and we've had several customers with frozen washer bottles. The car would have to come in out of the cold or be in the sun at over 30 degrees for the bottle to thaw.

Thanks for all of your replies!

It didn't work this morning, but after work it worked fine. I figure there was still some old fluid with water frozen on the nozzles.

8 more inches of snow expected in the Guido region through Thursday!

Prestone Deicer works just fine when outside temp is -11F with a wind chill factor of -25F in northeast Nebraska. You have to get all of the blue stuff out of the reservoir before winter and put a fluid in that's rated for -30F or better.
