245/45 R17 On A 2005 Toyota Camry LE - HELP

I will admit that I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to cars, let alone Toyotas. I was looking at some cheap affordable rims and tires on craigslist.

http://lakeland.craigslist.org/pts/2157241552.html

Universal 5 Lug:

The measurements are 245/45 R17. Now I don't want to sound like an idiot, but will those fit on my white, 2005 Toyota Camry LE?

I tried to do some research and I find out that, I guess, well the stock size for the '05 Camry LE is P205/65 R15 92H. My current tires are 215/60 R16.

Now obviously those numbers are different, but what determines if those rims are a good fit or not? Someone please help. I really need some knowledgeable information

umm I haven`t been on this forum in a long while so I think I`ll do my part, I have a feeling this question is fairly common, meaning check the sticky threads at the very top...

If I`m not mistaken there is one in bold for wheel fitting near the top.

Standard forum stuff, check the sticky threads at the top for common questions. Should help... btw I just bought 18x8 with 245 40R18 and they seemed fit fine on my 2007 SE V6 when I mounted 1.

Your probably asking the op...
but I`ll ask your opinion on mine since were here and my wheels offset seems to be a little different than the norm according to that sticky thread I just read.

So I have 245 40r18 tires on 18x8 with +25 offset, they looked good on a quick fit for my front right and I checked by turning the wheels I didn`t actually drive tho. The tire does noticably come out slightly but it gives it a good wide stance.

It was originally for a 3000GT VR4 and I know they are a hard fit to find. However I swap wheels with my 3000GT SL every so often.

Hmmm. Yea I just noticed a few sticky threads. I tried reading over them, but its a little hard to follow. How would I actually find the ofset? All I know is the guys tire wheel size, my tire wheel size..and that apparently, the rims and tires for sale were on a Honda. I'm sure I sound like a straight noob, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tire size will fit. But yea we need to know the offset. Email the seller asking.

And for my opinion. You can find a nicer set of rims in that price range.

Okay, I will ask for the offset. What kind of offset numbers should I be looking for for this to work best?

Also, can you point me in the direction as to where I could find better rims for that price range? I thought $350 was cheap.

Your first statement is blatantly obvious.

Second, NO, they will not fit on a "white" camry. They fit my "black" car tho

Third. Don't waste your money.
