Gen5 how to change auto shit knob

i have a auto 04 xle 4cyln and i wanted to know if its possible to change the shift knob and if people tried doing it and if you have any pics thanks

I don't have a shit knob but there are numerous previous threads covering shift knobs and one more is probably not needed....

i mispelled it obviously, and i searched for shift knobs already and all i get is gen 6 i have a gen 5. why does everyone has to be a dick in this forum and not help out a fellow toyota member i go to clublexus and they help out with no attitude about search this or that.

I'm not a dick.

Do you see any screw that's holding the shift knob? Just unscrew it and lift up the knob.

The Gen 6 uses a screw-on type, I know that yours is a Gen 5 and it's different than mine.

thats an awesome typo. would kinda suck to have a knob that causes auto shitting, haha

for the gen 5, im not sure if its possible because of the pushbutton lock and the O/D button
