Supposedly K&N changed their I4 one for the Gen6 to fit our 6.5. Unfortunately a member tried it and it didn't turn out that way. I keep forgetting to make a trip out there so they can test it on my car to confirm...

Also, on advancespeedshop, there's a sri/cai combo intake for like 200 I saw the other day. Uses a dry paper cone filter by afe or someone?

I was just informed that TRD has made an intake for the 2011 tC, which shares the same 2.5 2AR-FE engine as the Camry. Part number is ptr03-21101. No one knows if it is compatible with the Camry or not yet, though.

Just went out on the showroom floor and compared where the stock air box/vent routes to on the Camry and new tC. They sit in the exact same spot. Question is, will it work? I might be willing to take the risk.

Build your own. Cheaper WAAAAY Cheaper... 90 bucks tops.

ASG14 built one for me and it has been beautiful, never thrown the CEL.... he saved me over 180 bucks!

Are you talking about a TRD CAI for the 2011 tC? Cause they don't have it. I've searched for a month or so plus for my tc

Making your own- pure sound. Gains would be minimal. Also, we would have to buy the spectre maf sensor adapter online for about 30 bucks.

I would take that route.

You can make the CAI too...just get more piping and run it down to your fender, or inside the front bumper.

I am thinking of making mine into a CAI. It's doable. Just have to messure right.
