Trunk won't close...what the f#@&
Title says it. 2007 Camry SE. Went to close my trunk today and it won't. The black plastic cover that goes over it busted, but it doesn't look like that should matter. Where the problem lies is that the actual latching mechanism doesn't come anywhere close to the latch. It looks like it's bent in too far so it goes over the top of the black plastic scratch guard as opposed to underneath and latching.
Has anybody had this problem/have any ideas on how to fix it?
Also, while we're on the subject, anybody know where I can download a service manual?
