Lately it has become hard to shift the auto trans shifter from Park to R, or from R to D, or from P to D. This happens even on level surfaces, irrespective of the car being cold or warm. I took the car to Toyota dealer and the mechenic said everything was fine but he did adjust and lubricate the cables ( no charge). However, there is no change in the shifting. Any ideas what is wrong and what I should ask the mechanic to look at? Thanks
