Gen6 NEED HELP: Glove box lamp short circuit

i try to add a footwell leds by connecting them to the glove box lamp.
but very unfortunately....the +12V wire and the GND wire are shorted when i cut the cable.
now. the glove box lamp wont light up. everything else seems fine.
how can i fix it...
i try to locate the fuse..but no luck. cant find it.
please help.

Read your Owners Manual and find the fuse box below the instrument panel by your left knee..........
