Question Help - I forgot how to reset the Throttle Position?

Guys
I have been through this before on my 2004 Camry SE [auto 4 cyl] and have blessedly gone so long without the problem that I forgot what it took to reset it. This is probably due to carbon buildup on the throttle butterfly so its never quite closed - but I can deal with that... How do I reset the FI/ECU/TPS interplay so I get back to the baseline?

I had thought that simply pulling battery would do it: that changes the behaviour but did not cure it. When its truly reset, it idles like crap for a few days 'til it "learns" again, but otherwise the throttle response will be good to go. Does this require pulling a module and then reseating it? Does it require pulling a fuse or breaker or somethign?

I recall removing the throttle pedal previously but I don't think that was actually necessary... i just cannot recall what the steps were

that rings a bell... I recall for whatever reason leaving it disconnected all night once, and the pedal removed.

do I remember right that there are two electronic modules associated with the fly-by-wire on this car? one is where the pedal movement signal first gets intercepted, and the other is buried in the master FI gadget? something like that...

from what source should I buy the pedal assembly? I saw on the other, closed, thread re: this topic that someone had ordered for about $317??? I guess I may as well replace the pedal and see if the problem resolves. The voltages on the pedal are a LITTLE out of spec, not much. no engine codes. Cruise control works like a surgeon's scalpel.
