How to remove window chrome?

Hello everyone, I been lurking around the forums ever since I got my SE 2011 6 months ago and finaly decided to make an account and seek some help. So I want to black out my window trim and would like to know how to properly remove them first, I searched the forums but didnt find anythung that would help me or for my gen, thanks.

i hated the chrome trim on any car ive had and did some research on other forums and came upon this http://www.autobarn.net/trimblackout.html this stuff works great and you dont have to remove the trim, just simply place the blackout tape over the trim and trim the excess...you will have to get used to it at first but once you have done one door, you will be able to do the rest easier

Oh yea I tried that but it didnt turn out that good so I still like to know if theres a way to properly remove the trim so I can work on it better

Have fun with that. When I looked at doing this I had my whole door apart to find that this is riveted on as far as I could see. But as always I could be wrong.

There is no removing. Just tape over the chrome.
