Hey Guys -
First time Toyota owner here and I wish I could say I'm a happy one

. Anyhow, I'm hoping someone here has a similar experience or has an advise for me. I just hit 3k miles and so far made a couple of trips to the dealer because the car can't seem to hold its base idle speed when driving in stop-and-go. I don't have the manual to confirm the number but I'm just guessing the base idle is ~650 or so even though mine sometimes tends to "hunt" between 550 and 800 while at operating temps and NO ac/heat/defroster turned on!
When I'm in stop-and-go, and I'm coming to a stop (in neutral), my RPM dives down to around 500 and then bounces back to ~650. Of course when it goes to 500 RPM, I feel the car almost stalling! Any thoughts what this could be? Maybe IAC valve?
The monkeys at the dealership keep telling me no problems detected by the diagnostic tool and no check light so there's no problem.
Thanks!
