Toyota Camry 2003 Remote Key help - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Hi everyone,

I have recently bought Toyota 2003 Camry. But the previous owner thinks that it might have had the remote key to lock/unlock the car. And i don't want to take to mechanic to check if it has one or not.

So, Could you please help in finding if it exists or not.

Let's call it a key fob just so everyone can understand.
If you do a search on this forum, you'll find a procedure for programing. It takes a lot of coordination to do this, but if successful, the vehicle will talk back to you and give an answer if and how many remotes go to your car. This is called conformation.
