Unhappy Engine check light on

I ran diagnostic 2 codes came up p0158 and p2197 .Sensors bank2 sensor 1 and 2.Has anyone had problem like that? I have 08 camry le v6.

Sounds like the vvti sensors may have encountered some dirt or you have a vacuum hose leaking. The hoses by the air intake snorkel that run by the battery are suseptible to do that. Not 100% sure though.?

Theyre couple of T fittings in that area that are prone to cracking or breaking and if those hoses do leak you can't hear the vacuum sucking at idle or below 3k rpm. If so they only run about $2 at the auto store but $23 at the dealer.

I've had the bank 2 sensor replaced twice and the bank 1 once. Really annoying. Thank goodness the dealer replaced them free of charge.

M.I.L "ON" DTC P2195, P2197, P0138, P0158, P0171,P0174, P0031, or P0051

describes your problems exactly. They have to replace the front intake manifold sub-assembly and use a revised A/F sensor.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Federal Emission Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date.
For California specification vehicles sold, registered, and operated in California, Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont, and 2008 model year vehicles in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, this repair is covered under the California Emission Warranty, which is 36 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date.
