hope you guys can help... i have a 2011 camry xle that i purchased 3 months ago.. on friday i went to drive home and when i started the car... i have the smart key system and the light for the low tire pressure went on... i checked all of the tires, none had lost any air pressure and i tried to reset it with the button inside the glove box but the light stays on... i checked the tires again over the weekend, no air pressure loss and light still on... the light is constant on not blinking so i believe there must be some tire pressure loss but i can not see it... what do yo think it is...
did you actually physically check it with a tire gauge or just looked at it? if the light is constant then one or more of the tires has a low pressure, once you reach the correct pressure the light will turn off. If you start up the car and the TPM light blinks for 1 min then theirs a malfunction in the system.
The button in the glove box is the low tire pressure threshold. If you have them inflated to 35psi cold, then set the button, the TPWS would come on when they hit a low of about 27psi.
I never saw any spec readings on this post. What are they set at now??????
I haven't seen a full size spare in the CAM since 06.

thank you to one and all... added air to one tire last night on the way home from work and presto the light went out... it appears one tire was about 3 lbs under what it should have been and that triggered the light...
would have been nice to know this in advance... old car was a 2002 camry and it did not have this...
