Navigation Question

I bought the extended bumper to bumper warranty for 100000 miles. It has everything in the car except the navigation head unit. I found alot of them brand new on ebay for around 500.00. Im wondering if I install myself will it void my warranty at all? Also I heard this was a easy thing to swap head units. Is this true?

no issue with voiding the warranty. As long as you have the JBL radio already the swap should be fairly easy.

The ones on eBay for $500 are non OEM. They're reproductions, and I believe you can get them for use with or without the JBL system, just be sure to read the description. I've read mixed reviews on them, some think it's excellent, some hate it, so if you're willing to take a risk then go for it, and let us know how it turns out!

As far as it voiding your warranty, it won't. The units on eBay are 100% plug-and-play, so if you have concerns about it, just swap your old unit back in before heading to the dealer.
