2007 Camry V6 LE transmission holds when cold

I notice on cold days my transmission hesitates to shift and holds 2nd - 3rd for a long time before finally shifting. Once the car warms , all is fine. Will and what could the dealer do for this? I would like it looked after before my warranty runs out.

That seems normal, both avalons do this. Its a way to heat up the engine/transmission.

That is the way it's supposed to work.

I've noticed this on my V6 also especially with the 3-4 shift. Not the dreaded shift flare, just a delay in the shift. Being that I work at a Toyota dealer I asked my FTS and he said that its normal. As stated before, Toyota programs this in to help get the trans up to normal operating temps quicker.
