Input for those who have or had 20" rims. DO NOT MOVE!
I've probably had 2 threads moved to a generic thread in the past but hell, I need people who have 20" rims or had them and I need serious input. I can't rely on a generic thread because not everyone reads them. Not enough reach.
Anyhow, I drive the 2007 Camry SE and I'm debating rim sizes. I had a pick-up that sat on 24's so as you can see I like going BIG .
I've seen 18's and they look small in my opinion. I'm dying for 20's and I don't think I'd consider 19's since it's not a common make and can be costly, moreso than 20's.
I've seen the 20's on a few Camry's and omg they look amazing. I want to have some nice DUBS on there no doubt but I need your answers. Has anyone had any issues with their 20's? Was the ride okay? Using stock suspension or aftermarket (coilovers/springs)? I called 2 local tire shops today and I've spoken with people in the past about 20's and no one really said it wouldn't fit but this 1 jackass at this 1 particular shop said 18's would be the biggest and I laughed at him . ANYHOW - HELP ME CAMRY DRIVERS!!!
my first set of wheels were 20's on stock suspension... didnt like them. I felt like every hole, bump, and imperfection was bone jarring. So the ride, for me, was unacceptable. not enuff rubber for the way i drive imo. they did look nice though

I run 20x8.5 on my 2010, stock suspension for now with 245/35s, gona drop down to 225/35s possibly 30s .... the 245 is to much rubber for the look I want ... if your use to 24s the ride on this setup will still feel more comfortable ... 24s u get use to knowing roads and avoiding everything that could cause a shitty ride ... 18s look to small for a camry in my opinion , 19s look nice but the odd size makes them to pricey ... and yes I drive mine daily on 20s and not just to the store and back, I drive a hour and a half one way everyday for work ... noise use to bug me but I think its the cheap tires my rims came with
I had a 2007 Toyota Camry SE V6 that I put over 233,000 miles on that had 20" x 8.5" Giovanna Dalar wheels (38mm offset) w/245/35/20 tires for most of those miles. They rode very close to stock in my opinion and did not rub at all. I really liked how they filled the wheelwell. The tires that worked best for me (very quiet and smooth) were also very cheap: DCenti D6000 tires. I drive over 200 miles a day all over So Cal, mostly on the bad streets of LA and they were fine for me. I just traded in that Camry this past weekend for a 2011 Camry SE V6, but I am keeping the stock tires on it for now until they wear out, then I will put 20's back on.

That's nuts the amount of driving you do bro. Where'd you get the dubs and tires? local shop?
Google "1wheeloutletinc" these guys are from Sacramento and have really ballin ass prices like the Lexani LX 15 wheels, complete package for $1800.
if you buy proper wheels and tires, they will fit fine, and you won't have any problems. do your research on the generic threads that you are complaining about being moved to, get some 20s, and be happy.
I hope Scoop doesn't mind me posting his ride... 20x8.5 and 20x10
Falken 245/35/20 & 275/35/20. offsets unknown, custom forged wheels. He's dropped on coils. Just as an example, i'm sure he rubbed some with those tires on the back. but do your research and get the size you need and you'll be good to go.
