Pepboys has a buy 1 get 1 free offer for RainX Repel wiper blades. So it would be around $20 for a pair after mail-in-rebate, regardless of size.
It supposedly repel water from sticking on your windshield.
I saw the listing on Amazon for the Repels. I'm tempted to try them out but Amazon didnt have rebate. Is the rebate from Pepboys and how much is it for?
The Repels are kind of like a 2-in-1. They are RainX wipers but when "activated" it rubs RainX onto the window. So no more manual work of spraying onto the windshield and wiping it. The wiper does that all for you. I always get that oily/cloudy streaks when I do it myself =(

Thanks. Fixed it. I got the info from searching the forums. I personally don't care how they look...so as long they do the job and for me, they've worked pretty well.
Uhhh....they goodyears we got from Costsco for the 07 aren't so great. Already streak marks, should of gotten Rain-X like I usually do.
Must be climate or something, I tried Rainx once and they were horrible, I would never use them again and they cost more than the Costco ones.
You should have taken them back to Costco for a refund if they were that bad, another bonus on just about anything you buy at costco, they stand behind it 100%
I just changed the rubber part in the wiper after 3 years. Is that bad? Yes, it rain a lot here! How often do you guys change the wiper vs your current weather? I heard 6-12 months, but it seems like no one consider this seriously like oil change.

I guess it all depends on much wear and tear is put onto the wipers. Changing every 6 months is ridiculous. I would think every 2 years is ideal.
If your wipers are streaking, I can think of two reason:
There is dirt/debris on the wiper that is causing the streak
Wiper is torn
Changing wipers is not a major maintenance. Oil change is helps maintain your car and prolong is life. Wipers is for your visibility and its up to your discretion when it should be changed. I had my car for almost 4 years and changed the wipers once.
Well I have a brand new spare set in my trunk, so whenever it's raining I'll just swap them with the new ones and when it's hot, I'll swap it back with the old ones. No need to buy new ones ever again.
