2008 camry transmission line

Hopefully someone can help. I have a 2008 camry xle automatic with a 2.4 engine. I would like to install a transmission cooler but can't for the life of me find out what size the transmission line is 3/8 or 5/16.
Thank You
Rob

I believe all auto transmission go through the radiator at the bottom to cool the transmission fluid. I am not sure the if the transmission needs extra cooling. I don't know about the V6 but I think it also goes through the radiator to cool it. I would not mess with an auto transmission they are just to delicate. Manual is another matter.

Do you happen to know the size of the transmission line. I put a hitch on my car and want to protect the transmission so I need to install a additional trasmission cooler in line with the existing one allready in the radiator.
I have found a few that would work but need to know if the transmission line (metal line ) is 3/8 or 5/16
thanks

It's a metric size. Use a metric caliper to determine the OD.

or just forget about a tranny cooler. its not a truck, and whatever it CAN pull shouldn't be enough to hurt that tranny. unless of course you use it like a truck.
