Hey guys. I have a 07 Camry LE (I4). I wanted to get a nice sound going for the car. Something like a G35 or like some Ferrari sound, not a Civic fart-can:P. I heard that I would have to replace the whole exhaust system to get some nice sounds, but after researching on the forum, I think I can just change the muffler and still get what I am looking for? I don't want something too loud, since it is still like a family car and I dont want something too pricey.
During my research I also saw people recommending to do the resonator delete. Im just wondering what that is and would I need to do it? So any suggestions/advice?
Thanks TN
Get a vibrant muffler on ebay for about 120 shipped. They sound low and non-rice for the most part. Do that first, you can always do a resonator delete later if it's not loud enough, thought on i4's, it gets ricey without the res.
thanks 11LE for the clips
the vibrant with no res delete seems a little too loud and low-sounding
the magnaflow with res delete sounds a little too quiet
i guess i wont be able to tell properly until I hear them in person GT-R do you have any clips?
I might be getting a borla system on my 07 v6. Am i really paying more for the brand so to speak? compared to the Vibrant that GT-r has mentioned and the "cost friendly" magnaflow..
thanks GT-R
so all i would need to do is replace the muffler and i should be getting a nice rumble
by the way, what size and what type do I need to look for when im shopping for the mufflers?
I have a 2011 SE is there any point of getting two vibrant mufflers or should I spend a little more and get something else? ( I really like the vibrant sound)
Hey Bossmaan, since your planning to get the Borla system installed, do you know any places in Toronto that are good with exhaust/mufflers and not too expensive at the same time?

from all the places I called GT Custom Exhaust in pickering seems pretty decent with their pricing..the person there seemed more willing to work out a price and go over the details as opposed to the other shops i called
a full cat-back system will definitely sound better than just a muffler, i had the megan racing oe system at one point, sounded very very nice. Since going over to coilovers, i had to sell it because the mid-pipe would scrape, shame. Now i just have a magnaflow muffler welded on. It still sounds a little ricey on the 4cylinder imo when you accelerate and at certain rpms with a un-warmed engine, definitely nowhere near what the g35 sounds like
