With door open only one of the two lights up.The driver's side light.
The one that's out on the right will light up when turned on by the switch.
Is this normal?

Did you try opening the passenger side door?

"Kinda Hard to ID in a Parking Lot"
Just tried and found what I think is weird.
Open any front door, the rear reading lights don't light up.
Open rear driver's side door and one light, the light on the driver's side rear door only lights.
Open the passenger side rear door and the light on the passenger side only lights up.
Manual switches lights both.
Seems very odd to me.
I feel both the front bulb and back reading lights should illuminate when any door is opened.
Both rear lighting up when opening a rear door makes more sense than just the one side when that side rear door is opened.
I guess there's something wrong with my lighting.
I was going to do the LED changeover like I did with the map and front courtesy light but won't bother with the hassle of dropping the assembly and doing so now.
Only left rear reading light turns on when you open the left door. Only right light turns on when you open the right door.
From the 2010 and 2011 manual : "Rear (vehicles with moon roof) On/off
When either of the rear side doors is opened, the light on that
side turns on automatically. Closing the rear side doors will turn
the lights off."
Page 317
Other information about opening either front door and which lights should be on is there also. Please read your owners manual, lots of old hat stuff, but information about this specific vehicle and the new stuff in it.

My bad.I hate reading hundreds of pages in the manual.
Still seems the set up is odd and that all interior lights don't light up with any door opening but I now know it's normal for '10 & '11 models..

Thanks to you and all who replied.
I hated to read it to, especially upgrading from an 07LE to 11XLE. RTFM was soooo boreing. Start with page 317 and in front of that section.
A helpfull hint.....
I got tired of going to the car for the manual and found the following on the TOYOTA web site and refer to it a lot.
