2005 Tacoma Headlight (Daytime Light Lens) are cracked

I have found both my left and right side day running light lens (amber) cracked. The Toyota Service dept. is asking $915.00 to change bothe the headlight assemblies. Due to the front bumber needing to be removed, before the headlight assemblies can be removed.

Can someone tell how to remove the bumber in order to remove the headlight assemblies?

Thank you very much.

HI, Thanks! But, this reply did not help. I still need advice/instruction on how to remove the Front Bumper in order to remove both headlight assemblies.

you do not have to remove bumper on the tacoma
remove grill and lower filler piece pops off and oh here

First, you need to start with the removal of the stock grill. It's pretty simple: start by removing the 2 top 10mm bolts on the stock grill. Then, use a flat head screwdriver to pop up the black gourmets that are also on top of the grill. The grill will pull straight up and now that is out of the way. Start removing all fasteners and 10 mm bolts that are attached to the headlights and grill. You can avoid lowering the bumper which is a PITA and get to the last headlight bolts from under the truck. You need to reach up and get the last bolt with a 10mm wrench.
i have took a couple out no problem u just have to twist.

save some money and do this.
