New 2010 Camry LE with less than 7000 miles and less than a year old.
Three months after purchase, left car at airport for five nights and was greeted by dead battery. Jump started and taken to dealer who found no problem but replaced battery as "courtesy". Three months later, left car in home garage for six days and was greeted with dead battery. Jump started and taken to dealer who found bad cell in replacement battery.
Two months later, left car in home garage for 20+ days without use and absolutely no problem.
Last week, left car at aiprort for seven days and again, dead battery. Jump started and taken to dealer. Dealer has had car for almost a week and is totally baffled. Battery good and no drain. He wants to keep it another couple of days, to "replicate" problem although I fail to see how that would help. We now have a great and totally UNDEPENDABLE car.
Car is usually driven five to six days a week, approx. 15-20 daily.
My wife refuses to drive car. Pls help

I had a parasitic draw situation with my Highlander. I took it to a dealership and my private mechanic and neither found a battery draw. Over time the problem got worse and I could not go more than three days without the battery dying...WTF? I took it recently to a mechanic who specializes in electrical system problems...kind of like taking yourself to a brain surgeon instead of the family doctor...and they found the culprit: the relay for the A/C compressor clutch was bad and causing the clutch to constantly engage even when the engine was turned off. I'm not saying this exact problem is causing your drain, but you should seek out a mechanic and/or repair shop that specializes in electrical system problems. Good luck!

As an extreme long shot, do you happen to have a factory remote starter? There is a TSB out for "Remote Engine Starter (RES) ECU Parasitic Draw" that covers 2007-2010 Camry's and other models. T-SB-0103-10

No remote starter, but many thanks. Pretty basic LE with the exception of an Eclipse GPS/entertainment system w/backup camera. Nothing added and nothing deleted

Hey guys,
I have a somewhat similar issue.
I've noticed my problem happens w/in a short amount of time. Usually 20-30mins.
I get to work early so I sit in the car usually for about 15-30mins playing on my phone. The key is not in the ignition. I hear a noise as if electronics are settleing when I take the key out. The car lights turn off by themselves. But even if I activate the alarm it still happens.
So when I put the key back into the ignition and try to turn the car on it doesnt. Obvious low batter. After several attempts of turning the key on and off, on and off the car starts. If I run it for about 5-10minutes it charges and all is good.
What I've noticed is that when i'm trying to turn the car on after the low battery the CD player (JBL-stock) is making noise as if CDs are changing. theres also a dim light from the dispaly of the stereo. I think this might be the problem. I havnt had a chance to really test it because I dont want to risk getting stuck somewhere asking for a jump.
Once I can verify and duplicate my actions I'll update you guys.
I had dealership check batter since it has 3yr warranty and they confirmed it was good. let's see what happens.
