Not a fan of black rims on black cars (look like steelies from a distance). But your stance is nice and should look better with the coils.
thats what my mom said... Depending on how I like the XXR's, I might powedercoat a diff color, I'm already leaning towards doing it cuz I liked the silver on black with my 19's...
on a srs note, why spend so much money on the rear stage?
I think you wouldve been better off getting just coax's in the rear and putting the extra $ into the front components.
^^ lolz, I was about to put that pic in ur thread...
its all fun n games...
but you think I should just get cheaper rear 6x9's? I just figured for the price, they'd be pretty good.
I really don't want to spend too much, but want new speakers all around. I've had a Pioneer avic-D3 forever on these stock speakers and they just aren't cuttin it.

haha
but yeah I personally think you should put more money into the front components rather than the rear. The rear is just for fill anyways. Trust me, you will hear mainly the front when driving, the rear is just to fill the empty void of sound or for your rear passengers. No need for such high end speakers in the rear because the imaging isnt that great, our ears are designed to hear whats in front of us. Like your components now would probably do the job but i would suggest if you NEED to spend the money, get cheaper rear speakers and put the extra money into the front.
I think you can get away with getting a good set of front components + suitable 2ch amp for them and running your rears off your HU.
In my honda I have a 2ch amp for my front, 2ch for my rear and an amp for my sub. I was actually thinking of removing my rear 2ch amp and connecting my speakers to my deck just to reduce the amount of current im drawing since im ona stock alternator. I dont really notice my rear speakers when I listen to music. I only have my rears upgraded because I had extra gear laying around but if i could do it again, i wouldnt even touch the rear speakers.
oh ya forgot to mention, get some deadener for the front doors when you install the speakers, it will allow your speakers to output as much as it can by reducing the amount of energy loss to vibrations into the steel in the door.

!!! This is crazy you just said that. I was driving home and thought about ordering Fatmat, its like $130 for the bulk pack on ebay, my buddy and I are gonna split it-- should be plenty I think
What do you think about those 6.5 components? I mean, they were $550, do you think I should get two pairs? I just cant believe they're so cheap.. That would be kinda sick I guess, with that 80x4 MB Quart amp? I want some silliness lol, I've never had a "complete" system, just a headunit and subs..
btw, thanks for the input, its about time I get some help from this site
