Help! My 2002 camry xle dies out after coming to a stop.

My car dies out when coming to a stop after I've been driving on the highway for a while. I started using better gas and tried Seafoam cleaner, it seemed to get better, but now its started again. Someone said I may need to change the fuel filter but some are saying 2002 doesn't have a fuel filter to change.

Just a thought, it may be your EGR valve. My ram use to do the same. Replaced the EGR valve and issue was solved.

Do you have a check engine light glowing?

Try disconnectingthe battery for 15 minutes to reset the computer

So instead of asking us questions about what could be doing this, read the check engine light code and fix the thing. Sheesh. We aren't mind readers here, and there could be twenty things causing the problem. Fix it.
