I need help installing footwell lights to my dome light in my 2007 Toyota Camry LE

I read the DIYs but it was for Camry SE with moonroof and the other was an older Camry.

I get the whole installation process and that I just need to find the dome light wire in the driver side pillar and tap in the lights but how exactly do i tap into the existing wire?

The dome light wire is the red and white ribbon and I believe that is three different wires, size 24?, all together as one.

Someone told me to tap into the fuse and I don't know how to do that either. Can anyone share with me the easiest possible way because this will be my first time doing any wiring in a car.
