How can I remove the front and rear bumper spoiler

Hey,

I recently ran over a tire on the highway and need to replace the front spoiler (part# 7685106905) and rear spoiler (part# 7689106901). The body shop wants to charge 857 for the parts, painting & labor. I dont know if that is a fair price but I can definitely get the parts for cheaper than these guys are charging.

Does anyone have any quick tips on how I can get these things off? Correct me if I am wrong but I think they are just held on by plastic clips, couple of screws and double sided table.

You nailed it, that's all there is to them. Removal of the bumpers is the easiest route and you can see all the clips holding them in and it will make removal and install a lot easier.

Do you happen to have a guide I can use as reference? Finally found some time I can set aside to doing this.

probably be easier to remove the whole bumper from the car and then take it off so you have access to the back part.

front bumper DIY, its fairly easy i done it a bunch of times to change out my headlights, i can remove the bumper in 10 mins now.

The rear bumper is the same concept, i can't find the diy on it though. The bolt behind the rear splash guard is pain when i did it.

what's the easiest way to get a kit piece off the bumper & side of the car? i've considered using a heat gun, but it may damage the paint. and i'm not convinced Goo Gone alone will cut it.

Side skirts are held on with 10mm nuts with a phillips head. As for the front part of the kit, it is clipped in with tabs and held together with a double sided type tape made more to look like a gasket.
